Mr. Peter Hong is a distinguished businessman with over two decades of experience in promoting business and investment between overseas Vietnamese communities and Vietnam. He is currently the Chairman of KOGI Group, a successful company that operates in various sectors including agriculture, education, real estate, and technology.
Born in Dong Nai, Mr. Hong left his home country in 1977 and settled in Australia. In 1992, he returned to Vietnam to participate in projects supported by the Australian Government. Since then, Mr. Hong has played a pivotal role in supporting overseas Vietnamese businesses to invest in Vietnam, contributing significantly to the economic, cultural, and social development of Vietnam in general, and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
In addition to his work in business and investment, Mr. Hong is also a strong advocate for education and training in Vietnam. He is currently the Chairman of the Senior Advisory Council at the VIED Education Study Abroad Centre under the Vietnam Institute of Education Development, where he has made significant contributions to the development of this prestigious center.
Mr. Hong also holds several positions of high responsibility. He is a Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, a Permanent Vice President, and General Secretary of the Overseas Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association – BAOOV. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Australia Online Services Joint Stock Company (Bankpay VN) and Chairman of Smart Green Agriculture Co., Ltd.
Mr. Hong’s leadership and extensive experience have earned him widespread recognition both nationally and internationally. He is a respected figure in the business community, and his contributions have significantly advanced the growth and development of Vietnam’s economy.
Mr. Michael Phan is a highly experienced professional with an extensive background in trading, real estate, and technology. As the CEO of KOGI Group, he has successfully facilitated numerous acquisitions and M&A transactions for prominent local and international real estate developers, such as VinGroup, Capitaland, NHG, Lao Consulate, Viva Land Singapore, LDG, and Khang Dien Group.
Mr. Phan has over 15 years of experience in real estate project M&A, project management, and consulting, during which he held the position of Chairman at Phuong Nam Saigon Investment JSC, a KOGI Group subsidiary. Under his leadership, the company sold several real estate projects, including high-profile transactions with the aforementioned developers. Due to confidentiality agreements, we are unable to disclose further details about these transactions.
In addition to his role at Phuong Nam Saigon Investment JSC, Mr. Phan serves as the Chairman of KOGI Technology JSC. His leadership has driven the development and implementation of innovative research initiatives that led to the creation of a Self-Sustainable Energy solution. This technology can be applied to internal combustion engines without requiring any additional input materials, producing hydrogen gas to help save fuel, reduce emissions, cool the engine, and clear residue. KOGI Technology holds several US registered patents for its new energy and garbage treatment solutions.
Mr. Gary Le is a highly experienced professional with an extensive background in managing and operating various businesses across different industries. He is currently the COO at KOGI Group and the Deputy Managing Director at KOGI Technology Corporation, where he supervises and maintains daily operations while applying the latest technologies for environmental protection and development.
Prior to his current role, Gary served as Managing Director and Proprietor of Jasmine Service Company Limited, where he operated and managed a serviced apartment building and provided consulting and property management services to local and international corporations. He was also the Managing Director and Proprietor of Prosperous International Business Company Limited, a consulting company providing sourcing and trading services in Vietnam and Asia to buyers from Europe and the US.
Gary’s expertise also extends to the hospitality industry, having held various management positions such as Executive Chairman of Vina Yen Eco Park Investment JSC, the largest swiftlet ranching in Vietnam specializing in planning, developing, and managing swiftlet ranching, as well as Research and Development of products from bird nests. He was also the General Manager of Temple Club Saigon and Food and Beverage Manager of Diamond Plaza.
Gary holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Retail Strategy from London Metropolitan University, a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Stenden University in the Netherlands, a Post Graduate Diploma in Executive Management Development from the Hanns Seidel Foundation Germany – University of Economics HCMC Vietnam, a BTEC National Diploma in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Operations from IHMES – International Hotel School, Isle of Man, British Isles, and a Hospitality Management Diploma of the American Hotel and Motel Association from IHMES – International Hotel School, Isle of Man, British Isles.
